This Privacy Policy explains what information RevKeeper collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. RevKeeper is a motorcycle companion app for tracking maintenance, rides, reminders and motorcycle ownership. We've tried to keep this policy clear and practical.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the app and your account. Depending on how you use RevKeeper, this may include:

Account information

  • Account email address
  • First name and last name (if you add them)
  • Birth date (if you add it)
  • Sex (if you add it)
  • Profile photo (if you add one)
  • Authentication provider metadata — for example, whether you sign in with email and password, Google, or Apple, and the identifier those providers give us to recognize your account

Motorcycle and app data

  • Motorcycles you add (such as make, model, year and details)
  • Mileage / odometer readings
  • Maintenance tasks and reminders
  • Maintenance records and service history
  • Rides (such as distance, time and notes)
  • App preferences, such as units and appearance
  • Push notification tokens, if you enable notifications

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Create your account and let you sign in
  • Provide core app functionality
  • Track maintenance and keep your service history
  • Send reminders and notifications you've enabled
  • Keep your account secure
  • Provide user support when you contact us
  • Detect and prevent abuse or fraud
  • Improve and maintain the service

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored and processed by services we use to operate RevKeeper:

  • The RevKeeper backend / API, which runs the app and your account
  • A database that stores your account and motorcycle data
  • Cloudflare R2, used to store profile images
  • An email provider, used to send verification and account security emails
  • Google or Apple authentication, if you choose to sign in with those providers

Sharing of your information

RevKeeper does not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, and only as needed to run the app — for example, storing your profile photo or sending a verification email. We may also share information if required by law, or to protect the security and rights of RevKeeper and its users.

Your choices and controls

  • If you use an email and password account, you can change your email and password in the app.
  • If you sign in with Google or Apple, your email and password are managed by those providers, not by RevKeeper.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page for steps.
  • If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by emailing support@getrevkeeper.com from the address associated with your account.
  • You can turn push notifications on or off from the app.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your RevKeeper account and associated data are removed. Some limited records may be retained only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal or accounting obligations.

Children

RevKeeper is not intended for children, and is meant for motorcycle owners and riders. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
